Where is my delivery?

We will send you a delivery confirmation email as soon as your delivery is confirmed, which will contain your delivery date, method and tracking information where available. We will send this to you as soon as possible but no later than the day before your delivery is due to take place. Please be sure to check your SPAM email and add “contact@showertraysuk.co.uk” to your safe senders list to help avoid delivery problems.

Please read this email carefully as it contains important additional instructions and information regarding your delivery. If there is an issue with the delivery date we provide or you need to provide additional instructions to us please reply to the email as soon as possible and we can update your delivery information.

We usually dispatch orders on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Your delivery time will vary depending on the delivery option chosen. If you have ordered large items such as a shower enclosure or shower tray we offer a 5 – 7 working day service as standard and a faster 2 – 3 working day service at an additional cost. If you have ordered a small item such as a riser kit or taps, we offer a 2 – 4 working day service option. Our order cut off is 12:30pm, orders placed after this time will not be processed until the following working day. Our contact centre is open but we do not process orders on Saturdays.

Will I get a delivery time slot?

Smaller courier items will be sent via DPD. These deliveries take place between 8am – 6pm unless you have paid for a timed delivery service when placing the order. DPD will provide a delivery slot by text or email on the morning of delivery along with several options to make taking delivery as convenient as possible. For local deliveries and deliveries made by our own vehicles, our drivers will contact you when your deliveries are due. We are currently trialling a new automated system to allow you to track and trace your delivery, you will receive notification if this is available on your order. Oversized item deliveries take place between 8am – 5pm unless you have paid for a specific delivery service when placing the order. The courier we use can vary depending on the items ordered and your delivery postcode, because of this we are unable to provide an ETA. Some Couriers may be able to offer you a timed slot for an additional charge, please contact us to discuss if you are looking for this service.

Do you deliver on a Saturday?

Normally deliveries are made Monday to Friday.

For some items we can offer a Saturday delivery service at an additional cost. The cost and availability of this service will vary depending on the items ordered and the required delivery address. We require a minimum of 3 days’ notice to arrange a Saturday delivery. Please email or call us for price and availability.

Do you install your products?

Unfortunately we are not installers and so we can only supply the goods and cannot fit them. As a result we are also unable to provide a quotation or estimate for the cost of installation. You would need to contact a local trade person with the relevant expertise to get a price for your particular installation.

What is the difference between low profile and high wall shower trays?

Our low profile trays range from 27mm – 45mm in height and our high wall trays (also known as deep shower trays) are approx. 90mm in height. All of our shower trays excluding the 30mm Aqua-I Wetroom Shower Trays are made from heavy weight stone resin and do not bend or flex at all. High wall shower trays have deeper recess to stand in but are higher to step into than a low profile shower tray. Low profile shower trays can be made into an easy plumb option by using a riser kit whereas this is not recommended for high wall shower trays. All low profile shower trays except Aquadart trays have a 90mm waste hole whereas high wall and Aquadart shower trays have a 50mm waste hole.

Which riser kit / easy plumb kit do I need?

Which riser kit you need will depend on the brand, shape and size of shower tray that you are ordering. “Aquadart” riser kits are only suitable for Aquadart shower trays. “Aqua-I & MX” riser kits are suitable for both Aqua-I and MX shower trays. Riser kits to suit a particular tray can be found toward the bottom of the products page in the “You May Also Be Interested In The Following Product(s)” section and in the same product category as the shower tray. The Square and rectangle shape trays require a different riser kit to a Quadrant or Offset Quadrant shape trays. If you are ordering a quadrant or offset quadrant shower tray you need the riser kit specifically labeled as for quadrant or offset quadrant. There are also different riser kits depending on the tray size. The size labelled in the product name is maximum size tray that the riser kit is suitable for. You should choose the smallest kit that will suit your shower tray size. If the riser kit product title does not mention a size it is suitable for all shower trays of that brand and shape.

Installing a 3 sided shower enclosure on an Aqua-I or MX tray requires you to also purchase an Aqua-I & MX Shower Riser Kit 2000mm Extension Pack to get an extra panel. For a 3 sided shower enclosure installation on an Aquadart shower tray you need to purchase two Aquadart riser kits.

Where is the shower tray waste hole located?

The waste hole position can vary depending the shower tray size, shape and manufacturer.

To find out the waste hole position for a specific shower tray, go to the product page then just below the main product image you will see a selection of additional thumb nail images and arrows to scroll through the images. Within these additional images you will find technical diagrams and data tables that confirm the waste hole positions for each shower tray. If you are still unsure please contact us to confirm.
